Jazz Cruises, LLC was founded by Anita E. Berry, who has been in the travel business for over 30 years and is personally responsible for the initiation of the first full ship charter devoted to jazz. Anita still serves as the Chairman of the company and remains directly involved in the day to day operation of the company directing all of the creative aspects of The Jazz Cruise and supervising the inner workings of Jazz Cruises, LLC’s reservation and document delivery systems.

Michael Lazaroff (Anita’s son) serves as the Executive Director of Jazz Cruises, LLC and was primarily responsible for the development of The Smooth Jazz Cruise, hosted by Wayman Tisdale, Dave Koz & Friends at Sea, the 2007 North Sea Jazz Cruise, hosted by Marcus Miller, and our newest addition to the family, the Playboy Jazz Cruise™. Michael’s responsibilities include the financing, advertising and promotion of the various cruises and Michael personally serves as the cruise producer for each sailing, working behind the scenes with the staffs of the various ships to insure that there is appropriate quality control and services for all of our guests.
